Your Strength Shall Be Renewed

Beloved, this is the word of the Lord for you today:
"But
those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with
wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and
not faint" - Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
Points of Reflection
God is never late with what He promised to us. We must wait
patiently on Him. For what He promised is set for an appointed time. We must
wait with an expectant attitude of faith. We must wait with an unwavering
confidence and trust in God. For He who promised is faithful to perform His
word. If you have been waiting for a seemingly long time, I want you to know
that the Lord has not forsaken nor forgotten you. He has already worked all
things out in your favor that pertains to your purpose. Can you find
encouragement knowing this? Beloved, as you wait, God is the One who will
revive, renew, and restore you in strength, courage and confidence until that
great day of the manifestation of the promise. Do not focus so much on the
promise, but on the One who is able to bring to pass the promise. As you stand
with an expectant attitude, know that God will bring you elevation in rapid
progression, and put you on a steady course as you soar above and beyond every
threatening cloud. He will set you to run with rechargeable fortitude, and He
will cause you to walk with an unaltered gait and faith amidst all opposition.
As you wait, reflect on past victories, reach forward to experience the
possibility of new victories, and then rest and be reassured of the faithfulness
of God, who is active and alert, watching over His very word to perform what He
established concerning you. Beloved, remain in His Perfect Peace!
Eternal and All-Wise God, you are our refuge and Strength, a very
present Help in our times of need. Thank you for inspiring in us the confidence
and faith to wait on you, especially in the long seasons of life. So often we
are tempted to abandon the process and walk away from it all. We are so guilty
of focusing on promise, rather than on the the One who is able to bring about
the promise. Forgive us for self-centered ambitions. May we seek to know
Christ more, not just His hand, but His heart from which flows the fullness of
all that we need. Revive us according to your word, renew our strength for today,
and restore us in joy, peace and hope as we wait on you. Thank you Lord, that
all that we need comes from you and that your grace is sufficient for us to
attend to the demands of the day. Not just for today, but for the days ahead.
Lift us up and set us on a steady course. Give us a rechargeable fortitude for
the journey, and cause us to walk with an unaltered gait amidst all opposition.
May your presence be our consolation as we wait on you. Accompany us by your
Spirit as we continue to grow in grace and draw ever closer to you with each
passing day. We pray these things in Jesus name. Amen.
Beloved, the favor of the Lord is upon all those who wait on Him with an expectant attitude of faith, confidence, and trust.
Wait patiently on him. Reset and expect God's commanded blessings for you today!
