Beloved, this is the word of the Lord for you today:
"Fear
not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen
you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right
hand.’" - Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV).
Points of Reflection
When we face some of the most challenging seasons of life, we seek
the support, consolation and confidence that will override all things and
supply the strength that we need to be steadfast in these trying seasons. Our
Lord speaks tenderly to our restless souls. Listen! Fear not, for I am with
you, be not dismayed; for I am your God: Here's the gaurantee of this promise.
He give three of them: 1) I will strengthen you. God will empower you by His
Spirit so that you are able to persevere and perform every task with effectual
grace. 2) I will help you: God will raise you up out of anything that holds you
down. 3) I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness: God will
keep you or sustain you as you persevere to the end. The promises of God will prevail
in any situation. When you face trials, turn to the Truth!
Gracious and Loving Lord, we are thankful to you for being our
Source of hope and strength, especially in those seasons when we are facing
some of the hard seasons of life. Lord, when we are overwhelmed by life's
challenges, we are overcome by anxiety, and our hearts seem to fail us.
We turn to you, and seek to embrace you promises that can bring us consolation,
confidence and strength. Lord, we know that you are near to us and you hear us
when we call upon your name. Sustain us in your effectual grace as we undertake
each challenge. Keep us from fearing what tomorrow might bring, knowing that we
do not need to be afraid, because we you promised to strengthen us, to help us
and to uphold us with the hand of your righteousness. Guide us, sustain us, and
make us steadfast in faith as we undertake every trial that comes our way.
Empower us by your Spirit to advance with courage, knowing that we are more
than conquerors through Christ who loved us. May our hearts rest in you. May we
experience the fullness of your perfect peace. Now be gracious unto us and
bless us as we go in your strength and by the Power of your Holy Spirit. We pray
in Jesus name. Amen.
Beloved, when trial come, turn to the truth. Trust in the Lord, and He will strengthen and sustain you as you overcome every trial. Rest and expect God's commanded blessings for you today!
